Crossing the Generation Gap: Understanding Young Adult Faith in Complicated Times

Code: PT5/736

Dates: July 12, 2021 - July 16, 2021

Time: 9:00 am for 3 Hours (PT)

Much has been said about how irreligious today’s young adults are and the statistics are indeed stark. However, there remain those who are devout and strongly committed to the gospel, while others are bucking the statistical trend by coming to faith.

This course will explore what is going on, how cultural shifts are impacting religious belief among the young, and how young adult faith is shaped today. Based on recent research and ministerial practise, it will help us consider how we might support and encourage faith among those growing up in these uncertain times.
