VST Summer School Public Lecture
Join VST’s Visiting Distinguished Scholar Rev. Dr. Kara Slade to explore gifts of The Creed in our daily lives.
Abstract
When we think of the Nicene Creed, we often think of it as establishing the boundaries of orthodoxy. However, it is much more than that. This lecture will explore the role of the Nicene Creed as it sets the boundaries of our language about God, but also as it acts as the lens through which we interpret Scripture, as a gift to the Church, and as an act of praise and thanksgiving to God.
