Dr. Victor Ling

Biography

Dr. Victor Ling, OC, OBC, FRSC, PhD, is Emeritus Professor at the University of British Columbia and a Distinguished Scientist at BC Cancer. He is the founding President and Scientific Director of the Terry Fox Research Institute. Born in China and raised in Canada, Victor became a committed Christian during his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. He currently serves as an Elder and convener of Oakridge Christian Ministry at the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Vancouver. He and his wife, Lela, have two adult children.
