Dr. Brendon Neilson

Biography

Dr. Brendon Neilson is Executive Director of the Anglican Diocese of Islands and Inlets on Vancouver Island. His work focuses on supporting the faithful use of diocesan land holdings and physical assets, including advancing the work of structural reconciliation. He holds a PhD in Theology from Auckland University of Technology, with research exploring embodiment, metaphor, narrative, and lived theology. Brendon has represented the Anglican Church of Canada internationally and currently serves on the Lutheran, Anglican, Moravian Commission on Full Communion. He lives in Victoria with his wife Melanie and daughter Remy.
