NMC Summer School Bursary
At Vancouver School of Theology, reconciliation with our Indigenous sisters and brothers is carried on through the Native Ministries Program and Summer School. We are deeply committed to making a space where students from Indigenous cultures can learn in ways which integrate both Indigenous and Christian spirituality. Each summer, students from North America and beyond gather to study, celebrate and worship together. Many students travel from areas outside of the Lower Mainland. Students need, on average, two thousand dollars or more to attend; they require funds for travel, tuition, food, and housing for two weeks. In the past few years, Vancouver School of Theology has disbursed approximately fifteen to twenty thousand dollars a year in bursaries; these funds must be raised on an annual basis through the generous support of people like you!
Funding for IT Equipment
VST is challenged by the importance of overhauling its information technology systems. These changes require the replacement our outdated digital infrastructure through the purchase of new servers, networking hardware, computers, monitors, and accessories. This is a time of transition for VST: we will be spending the upcoming academic year in swing space before occupying our renovated building—a new home for Vancouver School of Theology! We are asking you to support us in this effort by making a contribution specifically targeted for this new equipment. On behalf of our students, we thank you for helping to create a learning environment that is the best it can be!
