I am Cayuga First Nation of the Six Nations Reserve, Ontario and single father of five and grandfather of two. I am an artist, writer, indigenous advocate, entrepreneur and public speaker. I express my passion in graphic art, poetry and prose writing, plenary speaking, mentoring, and group management. I founded and maintained an Indigenous church (self-governing, self-supporting, and self-expanding) on my home reserve. I have been involved in spiritual and social service training for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in various venues throughout the United States and Canada. My personal and professional studies have concentrated on Aboriginal worldviews, cultures, and health with a view to positive influence through a culturally affirming approach. I currently am Keeper of the Circle/Principal of Sandy-Saulteaux Spiritual Centre, an Aboriginal ministry training school for the United Church of Canada, located in Beausejour, MB. This school trains adult Aboriginal learners for ministry and leadership in the church and the broader Aboriginal community. Aboriginal culture and Christian experience are equally valued in this program.
