Jewish synagogue practice includes a rich multicultural tradition of liturgical poetry. Medieval and modern poets blended biblical motifs, Arabic rhythms, and evolving musical traditions to create beautiful songs. Some influenced the development of Christian hymns. Lean about the history and experience the music with Cantorial Soloist Debby Fenson, Rabbi Laura Duhan Kaplan, and the musicians of Sulam.

This event is free and open to the general public.
