All welcome to come for all or part of the day to experience some of the interesting research underway by scholars associated with the Vancouver School of Theology.

This Conference is an initiative of researchers associated with VST, seeking to develop as a community of scholars. It provides an opportunity to share research in diverse areas with one another, with friends, and with students, staff and faculty at the local theological colleges. You are welcome to join us, whether for the full day, or simply for one or two sessions that are of most interest.

8:30 •  Coffee and Gathering

9am–4pm •  Presentations and Discussion

Sessions include:

Ancient Texts and Practices (9–10 am)
Responses to Biblical Texts (10:20–11:20 am)
Perspectives on Contemplative Practices (1–2 pm)
Ethics and Practical Theology (2–3 pm)

Light refreshments will be available during morning and afternoon breaks. You are welcome to bring a “paper-bag lunch” or to eat elsewhere.
