Liturgy is central to the faith and life of the Anglican Church. This course will assist participants: in learning about the nature and purpose of liturgy and about the specific development of the liturgy in the Anglican tradition, in becoming oriented to the shape of core Anglican liturgies, in becoming acquainted with the role that all the elements of liturgy play in the formation of Anglican Christians, with special attention to the role of the Presider/Officiant, and in understanding how Anglican liturgy can reflect specific contemporary contexts.
January Interterm on-site course: Tuesday – Thursday Jan. 7-9 & Monday – Wednesday Jan.13-15 (2pm – 5:30pm)
