View outline (PDF)   Instructor(s): The Rev. Dr. Robert (Bob) Paul

Course Dates: July 4-8

How do you shape (or re-shape) a “missional” church so that the “Body of Christ” can be more actively engaged with the world? This course explores why and how a missional hermeneutic—a mode of reading and interpreting the Bible—can be used to empower fruitful Christian witness and engagement with our culture, focusing on John’s Gospel.

Rev. Dr. Bob Paul is Professor of Mission Theology at VST. He has served as a pastor and international mission executive, and is the Dean of St. Andrew’s Hall.
