Biography

Dr. Rebecca Giselbrecht is Research Associate at Vancouver School of Theology and Minister in the United Church of Canada. She works internationally as Postdoctoral Research Associate and Member of the Teaching Staff at the Institute for Old Catholic Theology at the University of Bern, Switzerland and is Affiliate Assistant Professor of the History of Christianity and Spirituality at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Her publications include Sacrality and Materiality: Locating Intersections, V&R Publishing and Hör nicht auf zu singen: Zeuginnen der Schweizer Reformation, TVZ. She has written numerous chapters and articles on Pastoral Theology, Spirituality, Historical Theology, and the Reformation. Rebecca is currently writing her habilitation at the University of Bern – a biography and the first edition and translation of the spiritual writings, pastoral ministry, and correspondence of an Alsatian noblewoman, Anna Alexandria zu Rappoltstein (1504-1581).
