The Vancouver School of Theology’s Inter-Religious Studies Program will host the conference Compassion: Thoughtful, Engaged, & Generous, May 27 – 29, 2025, both in-person and on Zoom.

This conference seeks to explore what the spirituality and practice of compassion should look like in our time.

Keynote speaker Dr. Terri Elizabeth Givens will present “Radical Integrity in Leadership: Empathy in Action” on Tuesday May 27 at 7:00 pm, at Epiphany Chapel and broadcast on Zoom. Dr. Givens is a Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia and author of Radical Empathy: Finding a Path to Bridging Racial Divides.
