2022 Explorer’s Weekend
Date: September 22nd - 24th, 2022
Venue: Vancouver School of Theology
Are you feeling a call to engage your faith more deeply?
Have other people been suggesting to you that you explore a theological education?
Wonder what it’s like to be a student at theology school?
Then be an Explorer!
Over the course of this weekend you will attend class and worship, interact with current students and faculty, and have some personal discernment time on beautiful UBC campus.
And, as part of the weekend, you are registered (for free) in the Somerville lecture series. This year’s special guest is Julian Davis Reid who will explore with us An Eschatology of Rest: Music and Contemplation as Care for A Restless World.
If you are seriously considering degree level course work then take the next step in your discernment and register.
Accommodation is available to anyone travelling from a distance, along with some funding towards travel if needed. For local explorers taxis home after a long day are on VST.
Meals are provided for all explorers. And, if you apply for a diploma or degree over the course of the weekend your application fee is waived.
We want you here!
