Description: This course is designed to equip worship leaders with a well-rounded understanding of Christian worship, focusing on its history, theology, and practice within the context of The United Church of Canada. Through a blend of lectures, readings, discussions, written assignments, and group activities, students will engage with the biblical, theological, and liturgical dimensions of worship. The course also explores a wide range of worship styles, including traditional, contemporary, neo-monastic community and intercultural approaches, fostering a deeper appreciation for the diversity of worship practices.

Prerequisites: Normally, students have completed at least one graduate course, Introduction to Christian Worship (LS500) or equivalent
