Dates: July 5, 2021 - July 9, 2021
Time: 6:00 pm for 3 Hours (PT)
This course offers a space for reflection and analysis on the intersectionality of trauma, theology, and healing. This course understands the theology of trauma as an intersectional embodied discourse of healing. It focuses on the question of how theology responds to trauma that ruptures the Christian rhetoric of healing. Bringing into conversation the Gospel stories of healing, art, the local narratives of trauma and healing, and primary theological texts on trauma, the course aims to emphasize the urgency of theological voice and imagination on trauma healing, especially in the context of our world today.
