This course will deal with the question of the present-day relevance of the Bible. We will address five topics and discuss them on the basis of primary and secondary texts:
- Creation and Climate Change
- Abraham and Migration
- Destruction and a New Beginning
- A Change of Heart and Ethics
- Diversity and Dissent and Interfaith
Prerequisites
600-level for those needing credit for advanced Hebrew Bible (HB500/600)
