Introduction to Christian Worship

Description: The seasons and cycles of our liturgies and church year echo the rhythm and flow of our lives and their daily and seasonal movement. This class will explore the terminology, history, shape and meaning of Christian worship as it both reflects and helps shape these patterns. Students will identify the structure and parts of the liturgy, reflecting theologically and exploring their own and other traditions through these lenses.
