This course explores worship from our cultural expressions as a means of returning to Creator the gifts bestowed upon us. Students will engage with critical cultural self-examination and asset-based analysis to discover some of the ways that worship can flow from our own heritage rather than inherited from external sources. This course will also review the biblical basis for using culture as a means to worship while maintaining an eye to critical contextualization.
