The Anglican Foundation of Canada

The Anglican Foundation of Canada provides bursaries for theological education through a number of trusts and funds. Bursary applicants fall into three main categories:

  • General theological – training for ordained or lay ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada at a recognized theological college
  • Advanced degree – advanced theological study at the post-graduate level with a view to contributing to the life and ministry of the Anglican Church of Canada
  • Doctor of Ministry – individuals who are in good standing in the Anglican Church of Canada who are pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree at a recognized theological college

With some of the monies realized from the sale of WA Memorial House, The ACW have been able to give to the Anglican Foundation an amount of money that will be a perpetual bursary. The bursary will be awarded in the amount of interest that is earned each year, approximately $4,000. Application dates are April 1 and September 1 and all information can be found at www.anglicanfoundation.org/bursaries/
