Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction

Both the Church and the larger society need deeply spiritual people who can provide spiritual guidance. The Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction is especially designed for clergy and those who have completed an M.Div. or an equivalent degree at the Masters level. Integrating academic, experiential, and skill-based learning, this programme equips participants to provide individual spiritual direction and group spiritual formation in ecclesiastical and other settings.

Length of Programme
The Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction is a 27 credit-hour programme that can be completed on a part-time basis through Summer, Fall and Spring Terms over a period of 2-5 years.

Admissions
Applicants are required to have completed a Master of Divinity degree or an equivalent theological degree at the graduate level. Click here for application forms and details.

Those without a first degree in theology should consider the Master of Arts in Theological Studies with a concentration in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction. Click here for details.

**Graduates of the Pacific Jubilee Program in Spiritual Direction are exempted, with credit, from SP220 and SP300.
