Pat
Dutcher-Walls holds Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster,
Wooster, Ohio, a Master of Divinity (honours) from Harvard Divinity
School and a Doctor of Theology (distinction) from Graduate Theological
Union in Berkeley, California. From 1995 to 2004, she was assistant
then associate Professor of Hebrew Scripture/Old Testament at
Knox College and has taught courses at both Masters and Doctoral
level. She is ordained in The Presbyterian Church in Canada and
has given numerous workshops lectures seminars and courses to
adults and youth in the church.
Pat is the author of three books: Jezebel: Portraits of a
Queen, Interfaces Series, Collegeville, MN: Liturgical
Press (2004); The Commandments: For a Blessed Life,
Kerygma Program Resource Book, Pittsburgh: Kerygma Program
2000;
and Narrative Art, Political Rhetoric: The Case of Athaliah
and Joash. JOST Supplement Series 209. Sheffied: Sheffied
Academic Press, 1996. She is also the author of many chapters
in books, articles in refereed journals, papers and book reviews.
Pat
is married to Tim, a Lutheran pastor, and they have two children,
Ruthie and Wes.
